Ben's 1x1x1 - Rapid Traffic - August 29, 2025 🚀

For those of you that are new here, every week I send what I call a 1x1x1.

One thought from my week.
One interesting find/tool from my week.
One image from my life.

Let's dive in 👇

Thought from the week

Meta is basically my cheat code for testing ideas.

I use it for my own harebrained schemes and for client experiments at Pono.

The whole point: before I pour time and money into building a thing, I want to know if anyone on planet Earth actually wants it.

My simple $300 play looks like this:

  • Build a landing page that looks legit.
  • Build a Meta audience that looks like the people who should care.
  • Send 1,000 of those poor souls to the page.
  • Retarget them until they either buy or file a restraining order.

For a few hundred bucks, I get a solid read on whether there’s real demand or if it’s just me and my mom hyping up the idea.

It’s not the only barometer I use, but man, it’s one of the fastest ways I’ve found to separate “let’s go” from “let it go.”

Interesting find/tool of the week

Clarity by Microsoft snuck into my life thanks to a Pono client.

Normally, we’re running the usual duo of Google Analytics + HotJar, but Clarity has been a nice surprise.

It’s 100% free, which is a massive bonus for a guy like me. Someone who has proudly rotated between the same two pairs of shorts for the past four years.

The tool basically gives you session replays, heatmaps, and insights without asking for your credit card first.

It’s like HotJar’s little cousin who shows up with snacks and doesn’t ask for rent.

See you all next week!
