Thought from the week
Honestly… I don’t have a whole lot for y’all.
Which is usually a good sign.
Either everything is going smoothly, or I’ve forgotten several very important things.
Let’s go with smoothly.
A few quick updates:
Luna continues to grow organically, which has been really fun to watch.
We’re launching a web version soon to cut down some of the signup friction because making people download an app just to see if they like it is apparently not everyone’s favorite hobby.
It’s also been awesome to support nonprofits through partnerships like Street Dog Hero.
More dogs helped = more good.
Accredited, the project I keep vaguely mentioning like it’s a startup Fight Club, is showing real signs of life.
It doubled MRR last month, and if the universe doesn’t introduce a surprise invoice or three, we’re hoping for positive cash flow in October.
We also asked Erica to step in as CEO of Makai Web and lead things there.
That has gone phenomenally well, which is both a testament to Erica and a reminder that letting talented people run things is usually a pretty solid strategy.
Outside of that, I’m trying to keep my head on my shoulders, move a little slower, and maybe finally put a sauna in the backyard.
Because apparently my next growth strategy is sweating quietly in a wooden box.

Such an epic time and so incredibly thankful!
